Rachelle Burrup, ACMHC, M.Ed., M.S.
Clinical Mental Health Counselor | Master of Science in Counseling | ACT and Mind-Body Connection Therapist
Hi, I’m Rachelle.
With a background in health promotion and years of experience as a Certified Health & Wellness Coach, I went back to school to become a therapist because I knew how vital our emotional well-being is to our physical health. Because of this background, I have a true holistic approach to helping you improve your mental health. I integrate physical and mental well-being to help you experience lasting change.
My passion is helping you develop greater self-acceptance and self-awareness through mindfulness, self-compassion, values exploration, and emotion coaching. I treat mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma, body image, and disordered eating. My approach focuses on building resilience so you can move through life with flexibility and improved well-being – mentally and physically. I apply Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), use mind-body skills, and incorporate other therapy modalities.
We all have the capacity to get through the difficult things life sends our way. I can help you address the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and/or memories, that are pulling you away from the life and well-being you want.
