Kelly Hoffman, ACMHC

Hi, I’m Kelly.

Clinical Mental Health Counselor | Master of Science in Counseling | Dialectical, Cognitive, and Behavioral Therapist

Resiliency is about creating coping tools that manage everyday stressors with a focus on flexibility. I am passionate about helping you find empowerment and healing from your life experiences through resiliency. You are the expert of your own life and it's important to structure therapy around your values to make sure therapy work feels authentic to you and creates sustainable change.

I have worked in residential and outpatient settings with both teens and adults. I have also worked with a broad spectrum of people, including individuals who have drug and alcohol abuse issues, anxiety related disorders, mental health comorbidities, trauma, and borderline personality disorders. I have a passion for helping people find greater wellness and mental health. It's important to me that my clients know their voice matters and setting healthy boundaries can change your outlook on life. I am excited to work with Mind and Strength and apply my extensive background in trauma and anxiety to women dealing with body image and disordered eating.

I graduated from University of Phoenix in 2019 with a Master of Science in counseling, clinical mental health counselor.  In my 4 years of experience, I have received training in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy prolonged exposure (DBT-PE), and received a certificate for post-master in trauma- informed care through Grand Canyon University.

My favorite things to do are hang out with my children and spouse, work on tumblers, and play with my dogs.
