Debra Denning, ACMHC

Hi, I’m Debra

Clinical Mental Health Therapist | Masters in Professional School Counseling

Resiliency is the ability to continue persevering by having a positive outlook through difficult situations. Resiliency is not always easy, but it is something that can be learned. I have a passion for helping people learn and adapt healthy coping strategies that encourage them to focus on the future rather than fixate on the past. I am passionate about helping kids and adolescents build resiliency. After working for over 3 years in the school, i know how important mental health is for our kids and teens!

I love working with individuals who are seeking emotional support, healing and self-discovery. I use play therapy, games, and join with my clients to help them through the process. I strive for all my clients to feel this empowerment and positivity in their lives.

I graduated with my bachelors in Psychology from Utah State University in 2018. My Masters in Professional School Counseling from Utah State University in 2020. I was able to specialize in Social Emotional Learning practices to encourage responsible decision making, social and self awareness, and build relationship skills.

In my personal time, I cherish spending time with my two young daughters, crafting, and anything to do with outdoors.
